About our branch
This chapter formed in summer 2010 to provide a forum for STEP members and like minded practitioners to attend talks and network in Cheshire who were unable to travel to Branch meetings in Liverpool or Manchester. Our first event on 30 September 2010 was attended by over 150 people. We host 5 events each year including a half day conference and we have attracted leading speakers such as Martyn Frost, Richard Frimston, Gordon Ashton, the RSPCA to name but a few.
We became a branch in June 2011 when we reached over 50 members. We currently have over 70 members, including students. In order to encourage membership we hold regular training events for practitioners who wish to become members by the Qualified Practitioner route. Our branch officers include STEP Worldwide Council, and Regional Committee members. If you have a particular topic you would like to see covered in future seminars, please feel free to contact one of the committee members. We are keen to grow our branch further so please come to support our fantastic events and bring your friends!
